Company History

Founded in 1995 by our Managing Director and owner Warren Roberts, the company has grown at a pace from humble beginnings into the very efficient and highly respected organisation that prevails today. Initially trading as grit blasting contractor, the company rapidly progressed before moving into the passive fire protection industry. The company is now widely recognised as a leader in the Fire Protection industry. As the company developed, increased staff numbers and constant investment in the latest plant dictated a larger premises. At this point the company invested in a new office, and warehouse premises in Houghton Regis, Bedfordshire.

During 2001 the company expanded, establishing an Interiors division, offering it’s existing client base a new service of dry lining, partitions and ceilings. The two divisions run by their own separate management teams, complimented each other, with both divisions often securing work on the same project, offering clients a ‘one stop shop’ reducing co–ordination risks and management input. During 2006 a decision was made to combine the two divisions, producing the current structure of WRR (UK).
